What are Neighborhood Outreach GoTeams
· On The Go's Neighborhood Outreach "GoTeams" are an effort by committed
Christians to help area Christians reach their neighbors for Christ.
· Neighborhood Outreach "GoTeams" use creative techniques to help facilitate
a positive outreach experience: street sunday schools, backyard Bible clubs,
door to door ministry, community social services, street music festival.
· "GoTeams" meet in parks, community centers, tents, and sometimes utilize
special buses (GoBus), vans and trucks (GoJam Van) that have been outfitted
as mobile ministry vehicles. These mobile stages include sound systems, puppet
and drama equipment, and tools for Gospel presentations.
· Neighborhood Outreach "GoTeams" bring the love of Jesus to adults,
youth and children in local neighborhoods.
Why Neighborhood Outreach GoTeams Are Needed
· Very little is being done to reach people in many communities across
the U.S.A. Outreach is being done in local churches but they are often being
stretched in so many directions to help the needy.
· On The Go and their teams help fill in the gap. On The Go trains local
Christians and helps local ministries develop their own programs that can
systematically and permanently reach real needs in their neighborhoods.
· "GoTeams" take the whole Gospel of Christ to needy people. There are
no quick fixes or easy answers. "GoTeams" are on site and face to face to
help introduce spiritual concepts and solutions to some of lifes most difficult
situations.
