India Project Update

   India Sunday 10:30 PM

Our day started with our team ministering in two local churches. The people here love to hear the Bible taught. Joan and I had the honor or dedicating a baby at one service. It was such fun to see the parents smile and recieve our encouragement to raise up their child to honor the Lord. I preached on Ephesians. We had packed services at the Soul Winning Church and Maranatha Full Gospel CHurch. They video taped our services and already were making copies to distriibute as the service clesed.

Tonights festival was fantastic. We had double the crowds we had had any previous night. Well over 3,000 were there. My friend, and fellow evangelist, Dallas Anderson joined our team for the night. He gave a spirited testimony and then I preached on the leading of the Holy Spirit and over 275 people responded to our call to come to Christ. When the counselors finished counseling with the new believers Joan, Jimmy, Dallas, and I prayed for those with special needs. The leading and moving of the Holy Spirit was evident.

Our hosts have treated us so kind. They have blessed our lives. We will never forget Poonamallee. Pray for all the follow-up being done by the local belivers. For the next 12 weeks all the hundreds of Children who made decisions will be taught special lessons at local churches in Sunday School. Adults will be taught in special new believers classes. We leave after midnight tomorrow - we have one more service tomorrow night for new believers and a prayer meeting to thank the Lord. We will post one final update tomorrow if possible. Photos will be online in two days. Sorry for the delay. From India it cost about $1 per photo page to upload. We will wait till we return to the USA for the photos.

India Saturday 10:30 PM

What a great day. Our youth conference saw over 250 students come and learn how to share their faith. We then traveled to an orphanage and were able to share with 240 students. They presented us with a great program and showcased their talent. It was such fun.

Tonight was our largest festival. The power of God was so evident. Some of the students from our conference came and shared a riviting drama and then I preached the message about going to God's house. The text was from John 13 and 14.

The invitation was awesome with several hundred coming forward. I am so proud of the counselors they worked so hard making sure everyone is counseled with. We have had so many decisions. The follow-up material, evangelism tools, and personal interaction are all working together to bring about real growth in the new believers.

Pray for us as tomorrow we are doing two church services and the festival. Pray for my voice and strength. Joan, Jimmy, and our interpretor - Ebinezer Johnson, all also need prayer. They have worked tirelessly. Jimmy has kept us running smoothly, and Joan tonight handled all the praying for the sick. I was physically exhausted and she had to lead this portion of the service. Thank God for a great team.

India Friday 10:30 PM

Tonight the crowds were larger as we held our second night of the Poonmallee Festival of Love. The weather was thought to be turning bad early in the evening but by the time the Festival started the Lord had cleared up the skies and calmed the wind. The night was electric with excitement for what God would do.

There is so much joy and enthusiasm for God to save the lost at this festival. Many of the counselors prayed all during the meeting for God to give them divine appointments with those needing to come to know Christ.

Tonight I was able to show the Love of Jesus in the story of the Prodical Son. The people responded with over 150 coming forward to accept Christ. The local pastors are amazed at the hundreds who have come to Christ already during this festival. The hard work of the local committee, the Next Generation Alliance team, and On The Go are really reaping a great reward.

Tomorrow the team will be hosting a youth conference in the morning and then ministering to 350 orphans at a local orphanage. The On The Go team will also be traveling with a videographer from the Luis Palau Team. This is such a blessing as we will have professional video to help us tell the India Story.

We need everyone to keep praying for us. We want to finish well and make sure we honor the Lord in all we do. We have two more nights at the Festival. They should be the largest crowds we will see. The weekend usually has the most potential for attendance.

We praise God for the arrival of the Tamil Language GoCards. They are being used of God. We now have the GoCard in another language. We are pleased that more people are out sharing their faith using our On The Go tools.

India Friday 4:30 AM

Joans Seminar had over 400 women. It was great. At our school we saw over 225 decisions. Pray for our festival tonight. We all are feeling well.

India Friday 8:30 AM

India is going great. Go to onthego.org for a picture of the first night. We saw over 600 decisions on the first day of real evangelism. Many students at a school came to Christ and many at the main festival. It was awesome.

Last night the festival grounds were full of people coming to Christ. The enthusiasm and spirit was great. Joan shared with the crownd and Jimmy Earle videod and took photos. I preached on John 14:6. I was able to share how we all need to face the truth about our self (we are sinners), our Savior (He loves us, died for us, and paid the penalty for our sin), and our eternal situation (we are either going to Heaven or hell)

Hundreds responded to the invitation. The local coordinator said that over 300 responded to the message to come to Christ. There also was a great wave of revival that came to local believers.

This morning Joan is leading a Women's Conference. The ladies are looking forward to her sharing with them. Her Women On The Go ministries are such a blessing wherever we go.

This afternoon Jimmy will be sharing at a local school and then we will be at our Festival in the evening. All are well and in great spirits. There are 11 other evangelists working in this effort in other cities. We are all trying to make a great impact for the Kingdom of God.

India Thursday 4:30 PM

Today we hosted a pastors conference for 83 men and women. They received our teaching with gladness. The loved the Strategic Points Prayer TIme and really prayed with power.

We traveled in the afternoon to a school and the entire team ministered. Joan sang, Jimmy did puppets, and I preached Jesus. We saw 300 or more students come to Jesus.

Keep praying for us - the Festivals start tonight. The banners, posters, bilboards are all over the area. I feel like Billy Graham. Everyone knows we are coming. We will repoort as soon as we can.

India Wednesday 10:00 PM Joan, Jimmy, and I have arrived in India and begun our work here. We are excited about what God is doing here. There are people everywhere. Muslims, Hindus and internationals.

I was able to teach at the School of Evangelism about Innovative Outreach For India. We were well received.

One local pastor was so excited that he volunteered to translate our GoCard into Tamil and is printing thousands of the GoCards to be used all over India. He is also going to pay for the printing himself. What a miracle.

Tonight we had the dedication and prayer time on the festival site. The people prayer with power. What a wonderful time. Afterwards we trained 65 new counselors who wanted to be a part of the Festival. We need all the volunteers we can get.

Keep praying for us. Tomorrow we begin the festival and host a pastors conference. It is going to be a great day.

Jamaica Update

Joan and the team in Jamaica have had a fantastic project. They have seen hundreds come to faith in Christ. Each day the team has been able to minister to students and in street meetings. Last night their street lights at the street meeting went out and the ministerd by car light. At least 30 people responded to the message. The young people who are ministering with Joan said the outreach was one of the greatest services they had ever been in.

Continue to pray for the team as they minister in a local training event. Joan will be training leaders how to lead ministry teams and the GoTeam volenteers will be ministering in drama and song.

The team will be returning this Sunday and covet your prayers for their safe return. Pray that they finish well.

Revival Breaks Out In Tampa Church

Keith and Joan Cook are reporting that revival has broken out at East Chelsea Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida. Each service has seen the altar full of people seeking a deeper walk with God. The power of the Holy Spirit has been so evident. Pray for Pastor Ray James and his wife Lillie as the lead out in the follow-up and in encouraging the congregation to continue in real revival. On Monday night seventy people made public decisions to be real disciples and last night the congregation stayed at the altar until each person in the church received a call from God to their own specific personal ministry. The congregation has responded to each message sent from God. Jesus Christ has been lifted up.

Uganda Update

Keith Cook and Jimmy Earle recently ministered in Uganda. The dates of the project was April 12 - 20, 2004. While in Uganda Keith Cook spoke to over 350 women at a Arise Uganda Women's Conference, 125 pastors and church leaders, hosted two Arise Uganda committee meetings, and spoke on the radio two times. Keith also ministered to 1,500 on "How To Live By Faith." At the close of the meeting over 600 people responded to the message and made a public decision to follow Christ. This project was a pre-crusade planning trip in conjunction with an area-wide Keith Cook crusade that will be held in Tororo, Uganda. Keith and Jimmy met with key leaders participating in the July crusade and received 23 new commitments from new churches who now want to join in the effort. We now have 67 churches participating. While in the area Keith expanded the crusade outreach into four other cities that will participate in satelite crusade meetings prior to the official Arise Uganda Crusade. Please continue to pray for Keith and the team as they are preparing for the July Crusade.

Fiji Update

09/04/04 5:30 P.M.
The Crusades and Ministry Events in Fiji have gone very well! We rejoice in each of those who have made decisions for Christ. Today the team will be ministering in local churches on the islands. There were over 3,000 people in attendance at the Crusade on Saturday and well over 250 additonal decisions. We are grateful for the work God is doing here in Fiji and for each of the pastors, church leaders, and counselors who have worked so hard to make the Crusade such a great event! Thanks for your prayers.

09/03/04 3:30 P.M.
It's Saturday morning here in Fiji and we are preparing for an exciting day of Ministry Events. Joan will be speaking at a Ladies Conference this morning, and the team will be leading day two of our Youth Evangelism Conference. Following the conference, the youth will be sent out to put their new tools into practice. Our first Crusade Event in Fiji went spectacular with over 2,000 in attendance. We had over 250 decisons for Christ. We are expecting another exciting evening in the Crusade tonight and covet your prayers for each of our Ministry Events today and throughout the Fiji Project.

09/02/04 10:30 P.M.
We have had a great first day so far. Joan, Chris, Debbie and I have held one youth training event, visited the local Bible School, and toured the area. Joan and I even were outfitted with some traditional Fijian garments. They resembled hula skirts but, I couldn't wear them in public. The youth roared as Joan and I danced around in the outfits. At the youth rally over 200 youth attended and we saw over 30 respond to come to Christ. It was amazing. I was able to train all 200 youth how to share their faith using our GoCard. They then went out as a large Outreach Army all over the town. There are over 25,000 people in our target area. Pray for the crusade tonight. Joan and the Drama team will be sharing and I will be delivering the Message. Pray for decisions.

09/01/04 10:30 P.M.
We are so excited about ministry opportunities God is giving to our team in Fiji! In addition to the evening crusades, Keith and the team will be hosting youth evangelism training and practicums, Joan will be speaking in a Ladies Conference on Saturday, and the entire team will be ministering in churches on Sunday. We covet your prayers for the American and Fiji team members.

09/01/04 1:30 P.M.
We all made it to Fiji safely. The 10 hour flight from LA went well. We are all ready to fly to our Island and get to work. Pray for us. We hit the ground running with no time for rest. We will be holding pastors meeting, crusades, and outreaches. God is so good.

Cook to Teach at E-School 2003

Keith Cook has been invited for the second time in one year to teach at The Proclamation Evangelism Network's E-school in Florida this March (2003).

The Proclamation Evangelism Network (PEN) is a network of evangelistic ministries committed to doing nothing apart that can be done better together. Each principal partner ministry has an effective program of evangelism at work as they labor to accomplish Matthew 28:19 directives from our Lord. And each partner realizes that such a task is not possible without coordinating efforts with other ministries.

PEN?s E-School brings these ministries together to share their knowledge with each other through plenary sessions featuring noted evangelists, workshops presenting practical steps for ministry, and small group devotional times for networking and feedback. The E-School focuses on:

? New "ways and means" for preaching Christ
? Multicultural realities for American evangelists
? Character that precedes content
? Creating a community of evangelists
? Relevance for today?s lost people
? The power of partnership
? Mentoring other evangelists
? A vision for the whole nation

Luis Palau?s Next Generation Alliance? will be hosting the 2003 school in conjunction with the Fort Lauderdale Beachfest March 18-22, 2003. YWAM will host the 2004 E-School at one of their international training centers in Brazil.

For more information regarding the PEN, contact the Billy Graham Center Institute of Strategic Evangelism, 500 E. College Ave., Wheaton Illinois, 60187; phone: (630) 752-5904.

On The Go Ministries - The Keith Cook Evangelistic Association is excited about being a part of this network and rejoices in all that God is doing through this association.

Special Thanks To ZOAR Baptist Church

Kip Smith and his team from Zoar Baptist Church have been participating in a Middle Tennessee Outreach this past week. While one team was out ministering life to hundreds of youth, children and adults, one team has been renovating our On The Go Outreach Training Center.

This week they have painted, cleaned, fixed, mended, scraped, and provided valuable assistance that was badly needed. The staff and regular volunteers want to thank them for all the hard work. We are almost ready to have our open house. Things are looking great around here. God has blessed.

We will update this news with the names and sponsors as soon as the project is over.

On The Go Joins National Religious Broadcasters

On The Go Ministries, at the recent National Religious Broadcasters Convention at the Opryland Convention Center, officially re-applied for membership. In the 1980's On The Go's Television Ministries were members of the NRB but now Keith Cook believes it is time for On The Go's new On The GoMedia Ministries to join this important and vital association of ministries. On The Go is developing relationships and partnerships with many progressive and strategic ministries.

For the past two years On The Go has hosted a booth at the Convention and has been able to work with many NRB members to launch our GoRadio Programs and prepare for upcoming evangelistic film projects as well as the new On The GoTV programming.

The NRB is an association of more than 1,490 Christian communicators and fosters electronic media access for the Gospel; promotes standards of excellence, integrity and accountability; and provides networking and fellowshipping opportunities for its members. NRB membership represents evangelical Christians across the full ministry, denominational and racial spectrum ? including organizations and individuals who are called to confront issues and engage in public policy, as well as those dedicated to preach, teach and evangelize.

Thanksgiving 2003

Our annual Thanksgiving Inner City Outreach was held on November 22. We had over 65 people come and participate. What a great outreach. We were able to touch the lives of 126 families. Each family received a generous food basket, a large turkey, Gospel literature, a special Thanks-Living message from Keith Cook, as well as a personal visit from someone who cares for them. Many lives were changed by the many prayers that were prayed and insights that were shared. - Thanks to all of you who helped by giving food, funds, and your time.

Mexico Update - Final

God blessed the effort of twenty On The Go GoTeam members with a fantastic outreach project to San Pedro, Mexico. The majority of the team is back in the USA while five team members are continuing on in the area ministering for a few more weeks.

Laurie Wilkerson directed the team and actually was able to have fun and come back with all her faculties.

Pray for Maude Bryeans, Kylie Cox, Amanda Edge, Stefanie Harris, and Cameron Brown as they remain on the field.

Special thanks to Katie Wallen for being the best spanish speaking Nashvillian alive. She really makes serving God a pleasure. The entire team wants to thank her for sharing their words with the people. She translates with heart and soul.

The team was able to do ten outreach projects and saw over seventy public decisions for Christ.

Costa Rica 2002 - 1,825 Decisions For Christ

Thursday June 20 7:30 pm: The entire team has arrived back in Nashville safe and full of joy. The team was able to minister in 18 different outreach projects and share with over 5,159 people. God blessed with over 1,825 decisions for Christ.

Our entire team fell in love with Costa Rica and with our missionary family, the Thomas'. Their two oldest sons, Stephen Jr. and Caleb worked side by side with our team. We are praying for their ministries as well as for their continued networking with On The Go.

Wednesday June 19 5:30 pm: Our team really finished well. We have seen over 1,500 decisions for Christ. Words can not express how proud Joan and I are of the team. We are leaving in the morning and have had a great project. Lives were changed.

Last night we had the sweetest service with a small and struggling church that no one wants to help. The pastor had tears in his eyes as we were leaving. One lady had a word for "the leader of the group." She did not know us and I did not share anything about our ministry in the service. She said that God was expanding our mission and work and that we would travel to hundreds of worldwide destinations for Christ. She also said that God would bring many more young people into our ministry. While I was preaching God gave her this special word for us.

Steve and Georgianna have done a fantastic time providing for our every need. We have grown to love their entire family. Joan and I have promised their boys that we would send them each a palm pda. They love mine and have been on it non-stop since I pulled it out the first time. If anyone knows an electronic contact email me soon.

Jimmy Earle and I have felt that God was opening a door for service in this place. Pray for us as we move forward. We are already planning our next project here.

Continue to pray for us as we travel home. God is in control. All we need is a few days home and we all will be ready to be On The Go again.

Monday June 17 5:30 pm: The entire team has been awesome, Pastor Daniel, Pastor Eric and the entire Christ Church team has been used of God.

We are well over 1000 in decisions and have been able to share at two colleges today. Tonight we are preaching in the largest plaza in the city. Pray for us as we minister.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) we will be in colleges again and in several street meetings. God is certainly using our team.

No real problems, no sickness, no accidents, no bad attitudes, no gringo mistakes.

Adios, Keith

Sunday, June 16 1:30 pm: Greetings from the field. We have had a great day. It is Sunday and we have just finished with a great church service and then a feeding of 133 children. We saw close to 30 decisions for Christ and a great spirit.

To date we have seen over 750 people come to Christ in all our school, street, and church meeting. God came down with one of the most powerful services we have ever had internationally. The altar was full of weeping people, getting right with God. We were supposed to be through at 7:00 but God had us ministering way past 8:00. Our black light drama team, evangelistic dancer, mime team and musicians brought the house down. The local pastor was also impressed with our team ministering door to door. He gave us total freedom.

Saturday, June 15 11:00 pm: Pray for our team and our safety. We have had great warfare in the spiritual realm. Today while we were traveling through the rain forest in a cable car the power plant for the cable car was struck by lightning. We were stranded for 4 hours but each cable car had a guide and a walkie talkie in it so we knew everything and everyone was safe.

The Costa Rican rescue team did a great job, risking their lives coming to our rescue. We were never in any real danger but it was an experience to repel out of a cable car 100 feet into the rain forest. We got to hike out of the rain forest. We were all blessed and overjoyed at the experience.

The team is working well together and we are eating great. Joan and Keith Jr. are doing a great job as is Jimmy. Our prayer is that we will finish well the job God has placed before us.

Friday June 14 11:00 pm: Today the team was able to do a creative outreach in downtown Guacimo. The school hosted us for an all day celebration. We did a cultural program where we shared in drama, music, dance and testimony from various countries around the world. At the night service God came down in a powerful way.

Our team has been blessed to be able to pass out Spanish literature provided by Thomas Nelson Publishers and their Spanish division. We have been able to provide entire libraries to many local pastors. We also have been able to pass out Gospel portions to the people.

Thursday, June 13 4:00 pm: Doing great. The team is working well together. Everyone arrived safe and ready to work. Had great meeting last night. Today we had orientation then did two youth prison meetings. We had 27 people at one and had 16 decisions and had 23 at the next one with 12 decisions.

We went to a local church and had lunch then went out and did two school meetings at one we had over 300 kids and close to 200 decisions, we held a special service for some small children who got trapped in the rain and could not get there on time. At the next

school we had around 125 kids with around 55 decisions.

As we neared our street outreach location it started raining. I am sitting in a McDonalds sending this report. If you buy a mega meal you can get online for free. I had to suffer and get a mega meal. WOW. Keith Jr is upstairs eating it right now.

Pray for us tomorrow is going to be very hard and demanding. We start early and are doing to two-hour cultural presentations. Pray for power. Decisions, and Safety.

The team loves Costa Rica. We are staying at the Nazarene Seminary and it is so beautiful. Costa Rica lost the world cup match last night but the shouting and yelling kept most of us up anyway.

Pray for us - my neck and back are doing fine. I am a little stiff but I was able to fly to Costa Rica in first class thanks to a great American Airline representative. God bless the USA and American Airlines.

Thanks for all you all do in prayer and in sending your youth, parents, spouses with us to work for God. We have had a great day.

Keith and Joan

Wednesday, June 12 10:00 am: Pray for Keith, Joan, Keith Jr., Jimmy Earle and thirty two youth and adults from Christ Church, Nashville, as they minister in Costa Rica, June 12-20.

Utah Update

Praise God for the opportunities to serve here in Salt Lake City. He has opened our eyes to many needs here in this area. On Wednesday the team ministered at the GoKids Club at the Concern Center and at VBS at West Jordan Baptist Church. We reached out to ten to twelve boys and girls during our GoKids Clubs at the Concern Center. What a joy to work with Jackie and Novella who are the directors of the center and have such a heart to serve and minister to physical and spiritual needs. Please pray for them as they continue to minister to families who are in need. Pray that God will continue to bless their ministry and provide the food, clothing, shelter, and other supplies for their ministry.

During our VBS this week, we have had an enrollment of over 75 individuals. Praise God for the turnout so far. It has been a great joy to work with the boys and girls and to plant seeds into their lives. Please continue to pray for VBS as it will go through the rest of the week. We have had several adults in attendance as well and they are eager to study God?s Word.

The team did a marvelous job as they ministered to the boys and girls at both sites. Our team worked so well together. For many it was their first mission project, but they each had such a servant?s heart and eagerness to jump in and get the job done. Thanks so much to each of our team members for their availability and heart for being used by God to make a difference in the lives of those we were able to minister to.

We want to say a word of thanks to Pastor Buch and Myra Buchanan who have allowed our team of 13 to stay in their home during this project. We praise God for you and for your willingness to open up your home and minister to the team. You certainly have gone beyond the call of duty and your hospitality is greatly appreciated.

The team will be leaving Salt Lake later today. The group from Tennessee will be arriving home at 9:00 and 11:00 pm on Thursday. The team from Omaha will be traveling through Friday as they drive across the country. Please join with us in praying for safe travels.

Monday, July 7, 2002 7:30 am

Thanks so much for your prayers for the team as we minister here in Salt Lake City. We have a very busy schedule today. This morning we will be ministering in the Concern Center which provides food, clothing, and assistance to many in this area who are in need.

Pray with us that as we provide for physical needs, God will also give us an opportunity to reach spiritual needs as well. Many in this valley are hurting, depressed, and seeking answers which can only be found in Jesus Christ.

This afternoon we will be hosting a GoKids Club at the Concern Center. As the mothers and grandmothers go through the center receiving food, we will be reaching out to the children through puppets, drama, song, and message. Pray for us that God will prepare hearts. Also, the GoKids Club will be in the heat of the day, between 1:00-3:00. Today the temperature may reach 105 degrees. Pray for the team, for God?s continual coverage over our physical needs.

This evening, we will be assisting West Jordan Baptist Church with their Vacation Bible School. We had the privilege yesterday to go out into the community to pass out fliers and share with many individuals. Please pray for the boys and girls that their parents will allow them to come out each evening, and that many will come to Christ.

As you can see, there are many needs here. We covet your prayers! God Bless!

Saturday, July 6, 2002 11:25 PM

Praise God for the opportunity to serve here in Salt Lake City . Today as we prayer walked through Salt Lake City, God gave each of our team members a new perspective on the ministry needs here in the city. Please pray for us as we continue to serve God.

Throughout next week we will be ministering in local churches, social evangelism, Vacation Bible School, GoKids Club, prayer walking, and surveying a local community. For many of our team, this is their first mission project and they are so excited about what God is doing in and through their lives. As we have trained the team, they have grown and matured and are now prepared to share their faith and serve in any capacity and opportunity that arises.

Tomorrow, we will be serving in a local church as we work with the youth ministry. Please pray for the youth in this valley that they will come to know Christ in an intimate way and be assured that He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There are so many needs among the youth in this area, please pray for us that God will give our team discernment, wisdom, and divine opportunities to share the Good News. Our outreach to Salt Lake City, Park City, and various communities in Utah is underway.

Thursday, July 4 4:00 PM

The Tennessee team arrived safely and are ready to work hard for God's glory. Pray for the rest of the team from Nebraska as they arrive and begin their mission for God.

Pray for Karla Buchanan, Cortney Smith, Laurie Wilkerson as they direct this outreach.

Haiti 2002

While in Haiti On The Go was able to work with EPI from Maine. This ministry is directed by Evangelist Phil Eyster. Keith and Phil have been ministry friends for many years and work together on projects each year. Phil has also spoken at On The Go's Outreach Training School on Church Planting in Evangelism.

The team was able to hold 36 outreach events in schools, neighborhoods and churches. The Lord directed over 927 individuals to publically pray and come to Christ.

Please continue to pray for Pastor Jean Claude as he directs the local follow-up of those coming to Christ. On The Go is praying about returning to Haiti and hosting a GoCamp and an Outreach Training School.

Keith and Joan would like to thank Jimmy Earle for stepping in and taking Keith's place when his health would not permit him to go.

All teams arrive home safe. God has been faithful and we all praise Him for allwoing us to share in His work. We would like to thank Zoar Baptist Church, Westside Church and Christ Church for sending such Godly teams of adults and young people.

WIth over 700 decisions for Christ and all the major goals of the project being met the team is very encouraged with the direction God is leading.

The projects saw;

Over 700 decisions for Christ in street meetings, local church services, boys and girls homes, prisons, GoKids Clubs, one on one, and in sports outreaches.

Church property being secured for the Victory Christian Fellowship Church at Lillyput. ($2,000)

Community Center at D-Side being renovated and prepared for services starting this Sunday.

Funds left to help local pastor make repairs on his home.

Electronic equipment, praise banners, school supplies, Gospel literature, Pastors Personal Library, 5 crates of clothes, 150 beenie babies, toys, and equipment left for local believers.

Plans have been made to send two teams back to Jamaica next spring and hold two major projects next summer. One project will include street and neighborhood ministries, school outreaches, GoKids Clubs, Tent Crusades and Festivals.

One new ministry will be holding a On The Go Evangelistic Leaders Institute in Jamaica. This week long event will be by invitation only and will be for young and seasoned leaders who want to go to the next level in leadership development as well as a showcase and training ground for new and exciting evangelistic methods. Hands on and on the field outreach projects will be incorporated into the week long institute. (Write for information)

Friday, July 12, 2002 11:00 pm The team is doing great and we praise God for the many victories that have been won this week as our teams have ministered. Thanks so much for your prayers on our behalf.

We have had the opportunity to minister in many different venues and have seen over 700 decisions for Christ. Please continue to pray for local pastors and church leaders as they follow up with those who made decisions.

Also, please pray for our team as we travel home tomorrow.

Thursday, July 11, 2002 1:00 am On Wednesday, God gave our teams the chance to minister in three orphanages, two church services, a GoKids club, and several street outreaches. We praise God for the opportunity He has given us to serve here in Jamaica. He is touching many lives and changing hearts.

Please continue to pray for our teams as they minister. On Thursday they will continue to minister in several orphanages and street outreaches. Pray for the youth as they serve in the orphanages that they can make a lasting impact in the lives of these children and that God will give them the strength and encouragement needed to carry out the role He has for them today. Pray for the facilities that we will be working with that God will continue to provide the medical care, provisions, and funding needed to maintain their facility and meet the needs of each child in their care.

We covet your prayers.

Tuesday, July 9, 2002 - 10:15 AM Two of our teams, (Westside & Zoar) both reported that their bus drivers have come to Christ. We rejoice with them. I (Keith) have noticed a real difference in both mens lives simply by getting on the bus and riding with them. Both men have real Jesus joy.

Also, Mr. Jim Wilkerson, board member with On The Go, has been able to share his faith each day and has seen men come to Christ after his one on one conversations with them. He is so excited that God is using him not only to prayer walk and teach in the churches but also to share his faith.

The team has seen over 200 decisions for Christ. Everyone is well and eager to share Christ.

Pray for the Tennessee Team as they share at Liliput. Pray for the Zoar Team as they minister at the Girls Homes and at the orphanage. Pray for Westside as they minister at D-Side.

Also remember each team tonight as they hold their street meetings around the island.

Last night our street meetings were "rocking" the streets for Jesus. Each drama exploded in many hearts. The joy of our teens and the conviction of the message really hit home in many lives. God used face painting, balloon art, music, drama, Gospel literature, and His word preached and shared one on one to gather a great harvest.

Thanks for praying - keep it up. It is not us - It is Him! Pray and trust in God's faithfulness is what we need.

Tuesday, July 9, 2002 - 12:15 AM God gave us the opportunity on Monday for the teams to minister in GoKids Clubs, street meetings, a handicap orphanage, and a juvenile girls home. It is blessed to be a blessing, and God is touching the hearts of each of our team and using them in a mighty way.

Prayer Request On The Go Ministries will be sponsoring our GoCamp during the week of July 15-19. Currently we have three Jamaican church leaders who are planning to attend GoCamp in Dickson TN. We need you to join with us in prayer for each of these individuals as they are still waiting on their visas to leave for the States. We know that GoCamp will be a great asset to their ministries in Jamaica and God will teach them tools that they can utilize in their ministries. It will be necessary for them to catch a flight out this coming weekend, so please pray with us for divine intervention in their visa applications.

Monday, July 8, 2002 - 7:45 am We received report from the field this morning. Keith and Joan stated that the teams are doing extremely well. God has blessed them with a spirit of unity and cohesiveness and God is truly blessing the outreaches and ministry.

They are seeing a great move of God upon the hearts of many across the Island where they are ministering. On Saturday night, the team had the opportunity to hold a street outreach in Sam Sharpe Square, even amongst the police and riot squad. As the team shared Jesus, the police listened attentively and we had no disturbances whatsoever. Praise the Lord!

Ken Abraham from Nashville shared at Gutters Church on Sunday morning. Thanks Ken for allowing God to use you in such a mighty way. God truly met with us and many came to know Christ.

On Sunday night, Keith had the opportunity to share in a rural area, quite a distance from Montego Bay. When the meeting started, the team began ministering to a crowd of four people. It was such a rural area that they did not even have electricity at the site and it was very dark. As Keith began the message the crowd grew to over 75 people and 22 of them prayed to receive Christ. To God Be The Glory.

The teams from Tennessee, Nebraska, and Louisiana are working together ministering throughout Montego Bay and the outlaying areas in locations that many missions teams will not venture. Pray for the teams today as they minister in local churches, orphanages, and GoKids Clubs. God has so much in store for each team member. Pray for those to whom we will be ministering to that they will see their need for Christ and turn their hearts and lives to Him.

Saturday, July 6, 2002 Praise God for the safe arrival of all of our team members into Jamaica. We praise God for the opportunity to serve Him and for the work that He is going to do this week in the lives and hearts of men, women, boys, and girls throughout the Island.

Today the entire team ministered in one of the local churches as we held a community wide soccer game. We had the opportunity to host an evangelistic outreach following the game, and then each team was able to hold street outreaches in various communities this evening.

We praise God today for the pastors and church leaders that we will be working with throughout the next week. Each of them have such a love for the Lord, heart for evangelism, and zeal to serve Him. Please pray for them and they lead their churches and seek God?s direction for the work He has given to them.

We count it an honor to have our prayer warriors serve with us as our team is on the field.

July 4, 2002 - Massive Outreach Effort Underway To Jamaica Joan Cook and the On The Go GoTeam Ministries department have launched an all out effort to minister in the hard to reach areas of Jamaica. Most mission projects to the islands results in teens and adults serving God in big local churches holding praise and worship services for the saints. While this is fun and blesses the people On The Go strives to go where the lost are and bring the message of Christ to them.

This summers project will involve sending three teams of 15 to 25 trained and motivated GoTeam Summer Servants into rough and tough street and neighborhood settings. On The Go will be holding street meetings, going door to door and preaching under the stars. We are taking the message to the masses. We are going public with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Pray that we arrive safely, stay healthy, preach mightly, and see many decisions for Christ.

Brazil ministry has 1976 decisions

   Monday, August 12, 2002

After a great GoCamp, Keith and the team headed for home and a few days of rest before starting a full fall United States Schedule. Everyone arrived home safely and were praising God for all the decisions and ministry that was accomplished. God really blessed everyone.

Friday, August 9, 2002

We are excited to report that God has shown us over 1975 public decisions for Christ. It has been a great project. Working with the International Mission Board of The Southern Baptist COnvention is always such an honor. Also working with Chris and Melody Julian has been so much fun. They really love Brazil. Their whole team and family share their zeal for Christ.

Last night we spoke to the seminary in a question and answer time. Some of their questions were:

1. How do you see 10,000 come to Christ?
2. How do you keep your vision fresh?
3. What do you do if your local church has no vision?
4. How do you deal with no one coming to Christ when you preach?
5. How do you follow-up those who come forward?
6. How do you give an invitation? What about all those on tv who beg and go on and on, etc.
7. How do you know God is calling you to do something?

Plus several other questions. How would you have answered these men and women? Sounds easy! Not really.

All that remains for us is one session at the seminary tonight and GoCamp tommorrow. Pray for this outreach training time. Pray we finish well.

Laurie is doing great and so is my strength. God has been with us all. Jimmy is even shaving! Cortney is still smiling and Kristin wants to stay in Brazil forever. She even likes my preaching.

Happy Birthday Keith Cook, Jr. You are 21. Wow. I sure wish I was home with you but I know that the best birthday present I can give you is to be helping birth people into the kingdom of God. (But I also have a nice gift coming home with me for you!)

This morning we shared in a school with 500 students in the assembly. There were so many decisions for Christ. Words can not describe the feeling you have when Jesus brings people into a real relation with Him. We are now close to seeing 2,000 public decisions for Christ. While only Jesus knows for sure who is sincere I am glad to be seeing such a high percentage of people responding to our message. Keep praying for us. We have two more schools to go.

Tonight We will be sharing again at the seminary. THe students are like a sponge. Last night our team had to drag me away from the students who had stayed late to ask me questions. They have great vision and wonderful dreams from God. We have two more nights with them. Tonight they are bringing their questions for me to answer. Wow, I need your prayers.

Pray for Laurie, she has been sick last night and this morning. We made her stay back to get some rest. SHe showed up to leave with her mime make-up on and a smile on her face but someone told me she still had not recoverd so I had to make her stay in. She is such a blessing to our team and we miss her but we want her around for GoCamp on Saturday.

Again, happy birthday Keith Jr.

Wednesday, August 7, 2002

Keith and the team have preached to over 2000 students and have seen over 1000 decisions for Christ.

Keith is preaching to seminary students at night. Last night's message was on how to get a vision from God and follow your dreams and was there was standing room only.

Tonight, Keith is sharing with the students on how to evangelize their local neighborhoods.

Everyone on the team is doing great. Please continue to pray for them and the work that they are doing for Christ.

Monday, August 5, 2002

My friends and co-workers did not arrive untill way after midnight and am I glad to finally see them. They got stuck in Rio but now are here and are ready to serve the Lord. This morning we were able to minister at two high schools. In one location we spoke to over 120 students and at another school there were close to 275 students present.

We were able to share two dramas and share the gospel. The students really responded to my message to trust Christ. Just under 275 decisions were counted.

All our teams jet lag is well behind us and we are prepairing for a full afternoon of ministry.

Keep praying. Rain and clouds are following us all day. Fortunately we were inside for all our early meetings.

Sunday, August 4, 2002

Brazil; We have arrive safely in Brazil. I am in San Palo and my team is in Rio. We will meet later today in Aracaju to begin a week of exciting and challenging ministry.

God is so good to me. I was able to fly first class for my 9 hour flight for no added cost. Since my accident GOd has done several little miracles to let me know how much He loves me and provides for my smallest needs. I had a great time sleeping and woke up and spent two hours just listening to God's word on my MP3 player. It was so wonderful.

Pray for Joan, Keith Jr., Gloria, David as they remain faithful to our mission by staying home and doing the hard work that keeps us on the field this project. We can relax because they are home working on our behalf. We have three back to back USA crusades, outreach training schools, neighborhood outreaches, as well as our ongoing daily and weekly radio ministries that all must go on while we are gone. Thank you to my family, friends and co-workers. Thanks also to Tom Kerns (Mr.Prayer) and to Dave Scarbrough (Mr Web) for all you do behind the scenes.

Pray for our outreach;

Sunday; Church services Monday; School Meeting, Outreach Training School for local drama team Tuesday - Friday; School Meetings, Seminary Outreach Training Class Saturday; GoCamp (Outreach Training With An Attitude)

Thanks for all your prayers and support. Dr. Mattox, we love you and would not have our staff on this project without your help and support. You and your wife are our heros.
