Update from San Pedro, Belize

We’ve arrived!

Our full team of 42 volunteers made it safely from Tennessee, Mississippi, and Texas. We’ll be here from June 28 through July 5, working side by side with the local church and community.

Joan and I couldn’t be more excited about the group we’ve brought. This GoTeam is strong, committed, and ready to serve.

The week ahead is packed. We’re running two sports camps and hosting daily GoKids Clubs. We’ve got a Gospel Golf Cart Parade planned, plus special events for women and men. One of the biggest highlights will be a neighborhood block party where we’ll meet people right where they are.

But the main event is our GoFestival. This will bring together people from all walks of life, both unchurched locals and members of nearby churches, to experience a night of music, connection, and the message of hope found in Christ.

Sunday’s services were already full of energy and purpose. Many made serious decisions to follow Christ and live a new kind of life. We’re seeing real change and it’s only the beginning.
