Back from Equatorial Guinea
Back from Equatorial Guinea
Summer greetings from Tennessee. As we move into one of the busiest seasons of ministry we have faced in a long time, we are stepping into weeks filled with outreaches, evangelism opportunities, ministry projects, and open doors to share Christ both here in the United States and around the world.
Every summer, we prayerfully go wherever God opens the door – whether that is in churches, communities, prisons, schools, mission fields, or places where people are hurting and searching for hope. Our summer outreach schedule begins in just one week, and the financial need that comes with these projects is very real.
URGENT MINISTRY NEED
Right now we are in need of an additional $10,000 to help us move forward into this summer outreach schedule. These funds will cover travel, ministry expenses, outreach supplies, transportation, and the many practical needs that come with taking the Gospel to people who need to hear about Jesus.
One of the greatest burdens on our hearts right now is Equatorial Guinea. We just received word from our partners there and when I read their message, my heart nearly burst. They are so excited that we are coming to be with them. For nearly three years, we have been ministering alongside them, building relationships, training leaders, and preparing together for what God is about to do. The pastors there want us to come and help encourage their churches, preach the Gospel, and reach people with the hope of Christ.
Equatorial Guinea is one of the poorest and most spiritually needy nations in Africa. It is also the only Spanish-speaking country in Africa. It is not an easy country to reach, and the logistics and preparation for this project have been extensive. But the believers there are already praying and doing everything they can to prepare for what God is about to do.
The Equatorial Guinea Festival will bring together over 60 area churches in a united outreach unlike anything this region has seen. There will be Leadership Training, a Pastors Conference, GoCare Acts of Kindness in the community, contemporary Christian music, and the Gospel proclaimed clearly and boldly.
“Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”
1 THESSALONIANS 5:24
I am writing today to ask you to consider your monthly support of On The Go Ministries. Every month, your faithfulness keeps this ministry moving – from our GoVision local church outreach pathway here in the USA to the GoPray Initiative and beyond. You are the reason an evangelist can say yes when God opens a door.
Anything you can do to help with either of these ministry needs would mean more than words can express. For the Equatorial Guinea outreach alone, we are still in need of considerable resources. On The Go Ministries does not charge a fee to the churches we serve. We operate on a faith basis, and partners like you are how we go.
Outreach is in every believer’s DNA. The harvest is still waiting – across the street and around the world. We are willing to go and share Christ wherever He opens the door, but we cannot do it alone. Thank you for praying for us, believing in this ministry, and helping us continue sharing Christ across the street and around the world.
For the Harvest,
Keith Cook
P.S. I have enclosed our Summer Ministry Impact Brief so you can see the full picture of what your partnership makes possible. If you have questions or would like to talk, please do not hesitate to call or write. I love hearing from you.
