Back from Equatorial Guinea

Back from Equatorial Guinea

Summer greetings from Tennessee. As we move into one of the busiest seasons of ministry we have faced in a long time, we are stepping into weeks filled with outreaches, evangelism opportunities, ministry projects, and open doors to share Christ both here in the United States and around the world.

Every summer, we prayerfully go wherever God opens the door – whether that is in churches, communities, prisons, schools, mission fields, or places where people are hurting and searching for hope. Our summer outreach schedule begins in just one week, and the financial need that comes with these projects is very real.

URGENT MINISTRY NEED

Right now we are in need of an additional $10,000 to help us move forward into this summer outreach schedule. These funds will cover travel, ministry expenses, outreach supplies, transportation, and the many practical needs that come with taking the Gospel to people who need to hear about Jesus.

One of the greatest burdens on our hearts right now is Equatorial Guinea. We just received word from our partners there and when I read their message, my heart nearly burst. They are so excited that we are coming to be with them. For nearly three years, we have been ministering alongside them, building relationships, training leaders, and preparing together for what God is about to do. The pastors there want us to come and help encourage their churches, preach the Gospel, and reach people with the hope of Christ.

Equatorial Guinea is one of the poorest and most spiritually needy nations in Africa. It is also the only Spanish-speaking country in Africa. It is not an easy country to reach, and the logistics and preparation for this project have been extensive. But the believers there are already praying and doing everything they can to prepare for what God is about to do.

The Equatorial Guinea Festival will bring together over 60 area churches in a united outreach unlike anything this region has seen. There will be Leadership Training, a Pastors Conference, GoCare Acts of Kindness in the community, contemporary Christian music, and the Gospel proclaimed clearly and boldly.

“Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”

1 THESSALONIANS 5:24
I am writing today to ask you to consider your monthly support of On The Go Ministries. Every month, your faithfulness keeps this ministry moving – from our GoVision local church outreach pathway here in the USA to the GoPray Initiative and beyond. You are the reason an evangelist can say yes when God opens a door.

Anything you can do to help with either of these ministry needs would mean more than words can express. For the Equatorial Guinea outreach alone, we are still in need of considerable resources. On The Go Ministries does not charge a fee to the churches we serve. We operate on a faith basis, and partners like you are how we go.

Outreach is in every believer’s DNA. The harvest is still waiting – across the street and around the world. We are willing to go and share Christ wherever He opens the door, but we cannot do it alone. Thank you for praying for us, believing in this ministry, and helping us continue sharing Christ across the street and around the world.

For the Harvest,
Keith Cook

P.S. I have enclosed our Summer Ministry Impact Brief so you can see the full picture of what your partnership makes possible. If you have questions or would like to talk, please do not hesitate to call or write. I love hearing from you.

February & March Outreach Update

February & March Update

God always amazes us with the outreach opportunities He brings our way. Each day is full of opportunities to speak a word for Christ or share the Gospel with others. I never dreamed, as a young believer, that the Lord would direct my steps into so many different kinds of evangelism.

I am sure that is true for you, also, as God has used you to say a kind word, lend a helping hand, and pray for so many needs down through the years. I want to encourage you not to give up on doing good and living for Jesus. Our world is rapidly changing and the enemy is working overtime, but our God is an awesome God and His power never diminishes. He will protect and guide you every day and in every way.

Joan and I are so excited to share our schedule for the next few months with you. We will be heading out to minister all over the United States, and we definitely need your ongoing prayers.

Please Pray - February & March Schedule

  • Fellowship of Tennessee Evangelist Conference — Johnson City, Tennessee (Keith)
  • Harmony Baptist Church One-Day Revival — Jonesborough, Tennessee (Keith)
  • Spiritual Warfare Women’s Retreat — Franklin, Tennessee (Joan)

  • On The Go Monthly Online Prayer Meeting (Keith, Laurie & Team)
  • On The Go Vision Weekend, Temple Baptist Church — White House, Tennessee (Keith & Team)

Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday

Today is Giving Tuesday, and we are reminded once again of the incredible privilege we have to share Christ across the street and around the world. Every single day, On The Go Ministries is seeing open doors – opportunities to reach students, families, communities, leaders, and entire nations with the hope of Jesus.

This past year, God has allowed us to minister in places where hearts were ready, hungry, and searching. And as we look ahead, the opportunities before us in 2026 are bigger than ever; from local outreaches right here at home to international projects in cities and villages where the Gospel is rarely heard.

Your Giving Tuesday gift makes this possible.

It places Bibles in hands, resources in schools, evangelists in communities, and hope in places facing deep need. It helps us train leaders, equip churches, and take the message of Christ into prisons, neighborhoods, festivals, and nations everywhere He opens a door.

Would you prayerfully consider giving a special gift today?

Your generosity, large or small, helps us continue sharing Jesus with boldness, compassion, and clarity.

Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for praying. Thank you for sending us so we can go “across the street, across the nation, and across the world” with the Good News of Jesus.

We love and appreciate you more than you know.

On The Go for Jesus, Keith & Joan Cook

Mission Recap: God Moved in San Pedro

Mission Recap: God Moved in San Pedro

Keith Cook, San Pedro, Belize 2025

Dear Friend,

Our outreach mission to Belize has concluded and I wanted to get you some exciting “UnBelizable News.” God moved mightily during our time in San Pedro. The days were long, hot, and jam-packed, but everyone on our team was blessed and used by the Lord.

UnBelizable Facts – Some of the wonderful things the Lord blessed us with while on mission:

  • Over 2,092 people heard the Gospel
  • We saw 494 public decisions
  • Our team was able to pray for at least 147 people (non-salvation prayers)
  • 15 outreach events conducted (VBS, football clinic, men’s & women’s conferences, street meetings, festival)
  • 1 wonderful golf cart parade
  • 2 street-by-street literature & invite sessions (900+ invited to events)
  • 475 backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed to needy children

Fun Facts

  • 2,000 bananas were eaten by the team during their time in Belize
  • Over 1,050 soft drinks were devoured by the On The Go team

As I’m sure you noticed – this outreach was very exciting and fun. Serving Jesus and being on the go for Him is a blessing, especially when you see the next generation of youth and young adults taking up the mantle of evangelism and discipleship with zeal. Thank you for all your help as well.

Current Facts

Joan and I need to share something that is definitely urgent. With all the outreaches, trainings, and mentoring we do, the financial burden is, at times, overwhelming. We need to ask you to help and definitely pray for our ongoing monthly support to increase.

Since the beginning of our ministry, the Holy Spirit has moved on the hearts of many to help us do the work we have been called to do. We know you pray and that you care about our ministry of sharing the Gospel worldwide. We trust that, as the Lord leads, you also will continue to support our work.

We are also praying for you – that the Spirit would bless your witness, and continue to direct you on how to make the most impact for the Kingdom through On The Go Ministries. We also praise God for your active participation with us – not just your giving, but when you pray for us, and when you go with us in the USA and around the world.

You are definitely on our hearts and we praise the Lord for you.

May God bless you,
Keith & Joan

The Bible Study Conversation I’ll Never Forget

The Bible Study Conversation I’ll Never Forget

Keith Cook, On The Go, The Bible Study Conversation I’ll Never Forget

The most amazing thing happened to me today during my daily devotions—God brought three powerful things to my heart and mind. One was a Scripture, one was a story, and the last—was you.

The Scripture

This morning, I woke up feeling off. Restless. Uneasy. Like something was just… not right.

I didn’t even make it to the kitchen. No breakfast. No vitamins. I knew I needed to be in the Word. I needed the Holy Spirit to realign my heart and fill my spirit.

Just then, my phone buzzed with a notification. It was the daily Bible verse I get every morning. I glanced at it, half-scrolling past like I sometimes do—but today was different. I felt nudged to read further. And then, like a gentle whisper from God, this verse jumped off the screen and gripped my heart:

“For this reason I remind you to kindle afresh the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of timidity (fear), but of power and love and discipline.”

2 Timothy 1:6-7

Something in that moment clicked. I knew God was trying to remind me—stir up the gift inside you. Don’t let it lie dormant. Don’t let fear or doubt win. Instead, live from a place of power, love, and discipline.

The Story

That verse instantly took me back to a powerful moment years ago.

I was on a mission trip in the Caribbean with about 30 teenagers. One of them was my son, Keith Jr. Days were full of ministry—training, outreach, worship, fellowship. It was a beautiful kind of chaos.

One night, after most of the group had gone off to relax, Keith Jr. walked over and quietly sat beside me. He was usually the center of energy, laughing, joking—but not that night. He had a seriousness in his eyes.

“Dad,” he said. “How do you really hear from God? And how do you study the Bible?”

I was stunned. Not because he asked—but because of the weight of the question. We ended up talking for hours. He asked deep questions, wrestled out loud with faith, and even asked me to write down everything we discussed. We opened our Bibles and studied a chapter together.

It was one of the most meaningful conversations of my life. Not because I had all the answers—but because in that moment, I got to witness a young man, my son, hunger for God.

Now You

That’s why I’m writing this. Because maybe you’ve been feeling restless too. A little spiritually off. A little disconnected.

I want to challenge you the same way God challenged me this morning—and the same way I challenged Keith Jr. years ago: kindle afresh the gift of God that’s already in you.

You don’t need to chase it down or earn it. It’s already there. But you’ve got to fan it into flame. And that starts with time in God’s Word.

The power you need, the love you want to give, the discipline to stay the course—it’s all available. But it begins when you slow down, open the Bible, and meet with God.

To help you, I’ve put together a simple guide: The On The Go Way To Study The Bible.

It’s based on the exact notes I shared with Keith Jr. that night.

If you’d like a copy—whether as an ebook, PDF, or hard copy—just let me know. My prayer is that it blesses your walk with the Lord and helps you hear His voice a little more clearly.

Keep us in your prayers, as we keep you in ours.

In Christ,
Keith
